Marvin, Daron, Q, and Mike make up the R&B group called "112". It all started in Atlanta, Georgia where all four members were born & raised. The group was picked up here in Atlanta at a talent show by their present managers, Courtney Sills and Kevin Wales who then introduced the group to Sean "Puffy" Combs. They got the name "112" from simply being named after a bangin' club in Atlanta. Their debut self-titled album was then released in 1996 on Arista/Bad Boy Records. "Our songs are like stories," explains Daron, "They're tasteful not vulgar." Their southern R&B flavor which is often influenced by church is just what you're looking for. Like Q says: "No matter how things add up 1 and 1 and 2 equals four."
