I took the 14 hour drive down south for the semester and now here I am - in my apartment at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. When I left Connecticut at 5:00am, it was snow and ice, and when I arrived here at 9:00pm, it was a good 25 degrees warmer and t-shirt weather. It's going to be tough being on my own at a new school and all but I'm already loving this weather. Just seeing palm trees has always made me happy for some reason. The gym here is incredible too - it looks more like a resort than a university gym. Two pools, hot tub, raquetball, basketball, huge free weight and machine areas, and cardio machines with plasma TV screens attached to them. I was a kid in a candy store after two years of Uconn's shitty gym. Classes start tomorrow. I'm taking Personal Selling, Principles of Advertising, Digital Media, and Intermediate Spanish II. Then one more semester at Uconn after this one and I am graduated.
In web site news, there isn't much because I've been busy packing, unpacking, and getting settled here. I've got a ton of work ahead of me and I'll be posting here whenever I update or add anything to EWS.
