You know what, thanks but not no thanks Johnny. I don't think that I can ever forgive you. Didn't Johnny Damon once say that if he ever left the Red Sox, he would never go to the Yankees. It just isn't right. I know, the Red Sox organization hasn't exactly jumped at the opportunity to renew the contracts of any of their players, including Johnny Damon. For that, I'm a lot more pissed off at the Red Sox management than at Johnny Damon but C'MON ... the YANKEES? He was the face of the Red Sox. He was the one Red Sox player that New York fans hated the most and a lot of them still do! This is the guy that hit the grand slam for the Red Sox in game 7 against the Yankees to pretty much clinch their series victory. And now he's playing for the enemy. No way. If I could actually get tickets to the first game at Fenway against the Red Sox, you better believe I'll be joining in the boooos the first time Johnny Damon is announced.
